The Dingle Peninsula

Today, Sunday, was our first full day in Ireland.  It was a lazy day, spent traveling around the Dingle Peninsula.

We stopped first at Inch:

Some of us simply enjoyed the view, while others climbed down toward the beach:

Shirley & Tom at Inch Beach

Brian and Bob climbing down to Inch Beach
Marie, Linda and Allie overlooking Inch Beach
Jane and Allie at Inch
Cackie climbing up from Inch beach
Our next stop was at Slea Head:

Leigh at Slea Head
Marty at Slea Head
Here is a short video of the view from Slea Head:

Our next stop was at the Gallarus Oratory, a tiny dry stone church built sometime between the 6th and 9th centuries.

The inside of the church is tight and has one small window.

You can see from the pictures that we had great weather on our first day.
