ReplyDeleteCackie and I were thinking about taking a side trip on Tuesday to Muckross House and Gardens instead of Blarney Castle. 3.5 miles from downtown Killarney. "A beautiful 19th-century mansion with a spectacular view of the Irish countryside." http://www.muckross-house.ie/ Has weavers. potters, farm, book binder and garden restaurant.

The Craft Workshops of Mucros Pottery, Mucros Weaving and Mucros Conservation Bookbindery, all adjoin Mucros Craft Shop. A full range of these products is also available in store.
